I picked this chap up for £8.50 yesterday. I felt he had potential for being a giant in my games. Here he is with 54mm and 40mm figures for scale/size purposes. A good price I thought. Not the most warlike of giants but charming never the less. I wonder what he is reading… tradgardland.blogspot.com/2021/12/fantasy-find.html

He's reading the latest edition of Dungeons and Dragons.
You could get some putty and turn that book into a large boulder that he is holding with both hands -- the better to smash bothersome humans with.

Excellent reading choice. I did wonder if he might be reading a set of Wargames rules to see how effective he might be. The putty idea is interesting, would make him more menacing but l think l like the book. Anyway it allows him to “throw the book” at his enemies 😊

The shoes are great aren’t they? The giant works really well height wise with both 54mm and 40mm , not to mention the Lemax trees. The Charity shop had another wee figure crushed by a golf ball and one sitting on big coins . They are much smaller and decided less useful so I left them for someone else.
