Compagnies Franches de la Marine. Here is a preview of some of the new figures that I am working on. There will be a few changes before they are finished. Besides these figures pictured there will be another 4 Marines. I hope to have these ready by March. I will be making these in 54mm & 57mm and 28mm later on.

Very nice looking figures 👍 Will they be plastic or resin? If plastic, will it be of a hard type - once bought some Conte Arabs which were made out of a rubbery material and they were so bendy the paint just flaked off when you as much as looked at them! 😟 Had to replace all the weapons and drill up through the legs to insert piano wire to stop them wobbling!

I like those very much. They seem much nicer than the F&I war Marine figures that I currently have.

They will be made out of resin. Most collectors will probably paint these. They will be a medium grey color. I should have some pictures next weekend with some pictures of the first 4 prototypes primed. They really look nice. I can't wait until the other figures are finished. Most of the figures I am working on are medieval figures. After the French Marines I will follow up with a Canadian Militia & Native Indians set. Here are a couple pictures of the first two figures finished. I took a picture with some Barzso Native Indians.

I choose to depict the troops that took part in the raids into North America. I liked the idea that they mixed in some Native Indian clothing and used their tactics.

The Compagnies Franches de la Marine figure sets are in the final testing stage. The first set includes seven of the figures in the first photo. It depicts Marines that were on the Frontier. Some of their clothing was adopted from the Natives or local the Canadians. They are fighting in North American wilderness style. The second set includes the Officer firing a pistol, two firing poses from set #1 and two new firing poses. Set #2 will have two of each new firing pose for a total of seven figures. I will have a post when everything is ready for production. That is probably in a few weeks. The figures are scaled to match the Barzso 54mm resin figures. But they can be scaled to bigger or smaller size if requested. These are 3D printed from a liquid resin printer. warhorseminiatures.com/

Any chance you'll start selling the digital STL files on somewhere like myminifactory.com or wargaming3d.com at some point? The 3D printing world is desperately missing good, "true scale" (not "heroic scale") miniatures.

Good luck with the range. They are some nice looking figures. Thank you. They keep getting better. I am having fun getting the sets designed. The next few medieval sets will be more action oriented. I will have some other French & Indian War sets later the Fall or Winter.
