I’m on the hunt for some European/English archers, not picky on exact period, for my fantasy games. Does anyone have any spares or ones in need of repair they might be willing to part with? Plastics preferred but would consider metal too.

Cheapest might be the old airfix archer figure. LOD do some robin hood types and is it Warhansa so some nice archers.
There's a bloke in the UK does some very nice archers to....can't remember the name...."re-" something....."replicants"! yeah have a look on their site.

Found a couple of crossbowmen! The plastic copies of the K&C metal ones, horribly painted...
Must have some more somewhere

Thanks Mike, Let me know what you find and how much you want for them. I hadn’t seen King and Country before, but their metals are eye-watering prices!

Plastics preferred but would consider metal too. Why not use American Indians. There are plenty available, more so than medieval archers. If it is for fantasy it does not matter too much what they look like. However, you can cut off loin cloths and braids if you want to. Putty can be used to add helmets etc. Chain mail and furs can be made by scoring putty with a tooth brush. I have seen, on E-bay, a cheapo set from China which includes archers, foot and mounted. Strangely, all the figures are based on The Black Prince. The horses are undersized so I replace them with bigger ones.

Picked up a nice haul at the London Toy Soldier Show today so I have quite a few archers for my games now.

I plan to convert some goblins first. I keep looking at the Black Prince figures sets but I’m not sold on the style.
