As you know ow, Expeditionary Force Ancients are 60mm scale. I have Alexandrian and Persian armies. Recently I was looking at Facebook and saw Blitzkreig miniatures, so looked at their site. I saw they did Ancient Indians but in 28mm. Then I saw that the figures were 3d printed, so asked if they could be resized to 60mm. The answer was yes, so I ordered a few spearman. WHaT lovely figures- well cast and lovely detail - photo attached. They've sincecadded to the range and now di spearman, Mace men, archers, javelin men, cavalry, light chariots, heavy chariots and elephants!!!!! So a new project (yes, yet another one!!!!!)is underway. I estimate it to be a 2-3 year project and Alexander will have another enemy to fight on 60mm. Attachments:

These are terrific Dave. What a spectacular army this is going to be with the elephants! Really looking forward to seeing this army develop!

I assume that these are licensed from Museum Miniatures who sculpted them and produce them in 15mm? They look good.

Hi Dave - they look great! If you don’t mind me asking, how much were the upscaled figures? Bill

Hi Bigbill
The foot figures are £5 each. So not cheap but I thought it was OK as I think Expeditionary Force plastic figures work out at about £4.50 a figure.
The chariots and elephants are obviously quite expensive - about £65 - but considering the size and 4 crew, it's not as expensive as you think. I think the chariots are about the same price. And they are in 60mm.
I know it all sounds expensive but if I make it a 2-3 year project, it should work out OK if I buy a bit at a time, and at the end of the day, it will mean I can use the Alexandrian army I have to oppose them.
So I can either say - too much - or get on and buy the figures, which is what I propose to do.

Yeah, not cheap but it’s your hard-earned cash so you spend it how you want - you deserve it!👍😀 It reminds me of the (probably apocryphal) story of a journalist asking the footballer, (I think it was George Best) how he’d managed to spend all of the money he’d earned playing football - Best replied, “most of it went on drink, women and gambling - the rest I wasted!” 😂

Definitely doable over a longer period though, I will say, at those prices...a printer and a kg of resin will only cost you $230 or so and they're really not that hard to learn Then it would cost you literal pennies to print each figure.

A great plan Dave and a wonderful treat for the eyes on the table top in a couple of years. Go for it…

Nice looking figures. I had an Indian army in 28s -- it was great looking force.
