Morning all! here is a link to some 40mm semi flat toy soldier imagineering and gaming I have been doing of late. Set in a Europe sans WW1 or WW2 where Germany never unified and the same could be said of Italy. The idea is to create a game with the look and feel of a child’s game in the 1920s that never was. Do pop by here- tradgardland.blogspot.com/search/label/HREplease leave a comment and suggestions most welcome.

Charming! Reminds me of the Mark's Little Soldiers project from Mark Copplestone. I also love the alternate history/imagi-nations route.

I love the combined look of your troops and scenery and will be watching how the rules develop. I'm already speculating if you will make a couple of flat bodied biplanes ...

Charming! Reminds me of the Mark's Little Soldiers project from Mark Copplestone. I also love the alternate history/imagi-nations route. I’m following Mark’s project with great interest and have ordered the preorder already. Ive been using these old semi flat homecasts for some years and really like the look they give, 2d theatre like almost. I really like the idea of taking old broken toy soldiers, breathing new life into them and gaming with them. Imaginations are a good change of scene from the realities of warfare and history.

Wonderful-so nostalgic, although despite appearances I wasn't alive in the 1920s!
