At the Barrage Show last weekend, in Harve de Grace, Maryland. Run by Bill Molyneaux from the HAWKS club. I played on the Union side and was not able to get the Confederates out of the Sunken Road, nor could my mates take the Dunker Church on the other side of the board. Bill used a modified set of Don Featherstone's rules. A very good time.

And some more photos. Apparently all taken by the Australian Army Film and Photo Unit... Eric

If I were better at yoga I could see these more clearly, but it's still obvious that that was a magnificent looking game. Very well done!!!

For some reason, every time I take a photo with my phone and post them to a forum, they post upside down, but as Ross says, once you click on them, all is well.

Eric,
Thanks for posting. How would you say the rules played? It sounds like there were some frustrating moments.
Bill Molyneaux is quite famous for his 54mm convention games. I wonder if he has the same storage challenges that I have.

Nick; The rules were fine. Bill always tries to get folks into action by Turn 2. We only had a set number of turns to clear out the Rebs and seize the Dunker Church. He's always doing scenario specific tinkering.
Years ago, I used to be a part of the Gettysburg Area Gamers and we'd game at his place. Now he's in Maryland, sold off his 25's and replaced everything with plastic 54mm. He's still a big influence on me, which is why I have a pile of finished and unfinished 54mm ACW... and WW2... and, well, you get the idea.

Every time I think about selling my 54mm ACW I see a post like this.

Yeah, I know. And it's not helping that I have three other projects I'm trying to get done...
Every time I pop up into the game room, I think I see the 54mm ACW plastics giving me sullen, disapproving looks when I head over to my painting desk and reach for the 25mm French and Indian War hordes I'm trying to complete.
