You are welcome to bring your own food to the venue, there are places locally to obtain lunch and there is a kitchen at the venue that is available for us to use. Tea, coffee will be freely available over the weekend. Parking

Hi all,
The details for the Northern 54mm Games weekend have been posted.
1. Please could you let me know if you are coming along (if not already listed) and which days.
2. What game (if any) you will be hosting.
3. If you would like to go out for a meal on the Saturday night.
The Big Battle on the Sunday will be a follow on from the one fought at last year's event - The Battle of Embleton Bay. It would be really useful to know if you are able to bring any British, French, Prussian, Russian troops for the game.
We will be using Wiley Games Bigger Battles rules. The units are made up as follows:
Infantry - 10-12 figures
Cavalry - 6 figures
Artillery - Gun plus 4 crew

Alan Gruber and I will be offering "Memories of '34": the Star Spangled Army invades Maple Leaf County. The rules are inspired by Memoir '44.
I'd like to go for a meal on the Saturday evening.
And I could bring several British units. I'll have to check what I have and can manage to bring as I'll be travelling for train.

Thanks for the offer of British troops. I am hoping that we can find some Prussian, French or Russians to provide the opposition. I know Mike has some units but we may need a few more.

Mike is helping me playtest the Khambula scenario on Wednesday. If it works, then that's the game I'll be running at Stockport and you will all get to see Mike's marvellous toy soldier wagon laagers and redoubt-If not, then it will be a hypothetical Zulu War scenario.

Hi Antony,
are you still short of 'Prussians' for the Sunday?
I have some AiP I could paint up to provide an infantry units. I also have enough Britains mounted Life Guards to form a cavalry unit and some odd figures that could crew a spare gun that I have.
