HAT are asking for interest in their 1/32 7YW austrians based on their 1/72 set: "Greetings! If you are interested in seeing them in the future, please participate in this poll: hat.freeforums.net/thread/219/poll-any-interest-crowfunding-austriansThis is just a poll now, not a crowdfunding effort yet. We are trying this again because the master figures have already been scanned in for the 1/72 sets and completed. It will also be a simpler mold with 6 figures per sprue without any extra items such as hats or backpacks. Sincerely, HaT2" They look nice, useful figures... Mike

Very nice figures. Beautifully sculpted Just hope they come out of the mould well-sometimes the resulting figures and equipment are a little too bendy. I wonder why manufacturers of 54mm figures don't use hard plastic like Victrix, Warlord and Perry miniatures. It's so much better to adapt, convert and clean up. Ex-Force were proposing to do some 18th century figures, so some possible competition-or useful additions to the Hat range.
I like the look of these Hat figures.
Best Wishes Dave

This funding attempt has surpassed previous efforts. Purchasers can specify Fusiliers, Grenadiers or Command, rather than the usual Hat MAC set organization. www.hat.com/Big7AutCF.html

I don't know if it's just me but apart from the new grenadier bearskin head I can't see much difference from the previous Prussian sets? Any thoughts anyone?

The advancing and loading figures are different. The mounted officer and horse are different.
They have used the same artist for all the sets in recent years. He has his way of doing things.

Yes indeed lovely figures, looking forward to these coming out! Wish Hat would consider releasing some of their 1/72nd AWI figures in 54mm as would have thought they would do quite well, particularly in the States. Stu
