Brilliant Don. What a great yellow. What paint do you use? Did the Neuchatel Battalion fight in the Peninsular?

Brilliant Don, and thanks for the info for the paint. Has given me some ideas for extending my collection.
Will try the Dirk Donvil About Bonaparte rules, although I've changed the sizes of the units. 10 figures for a British unit (1 figure per company) and 12 figures for a French unit (2 figures per company) based on square bases and using a movement tray, with all light units 8 figures, based on round bases like yours.
Keep the photos Coming.
Best Wishes Dave

Really good Don. Don't know how you do it. With painting the figures (I have to paint both sides as my mate won't paint in this scale) I haven't given much thought to scenery. I don't think trees, rivers and roads will be a problem, but I think buildings will.
There don't seem to be any manufacturers out there and I'm sure the prices would be high even if there were any. So I may have to try my hand at a "Don build"!!!!!!
A great set of buildings.
Best Wishes Dave

Okay, here are a few pics of the finished project. Each side has 6-7 battallions, 1 canon and 1-2x cav. All is pretty finished...besides a few dots here and there. Not the best weather for fotography at the moment...sorry..... A few more bases have to be made... And thanx all for your encouragement.... Cheers, Don

Once again lovely figures and terrain. An inspiration to us.
What figures have you used for what I think are the Scots Greys? They look very nice. Although I've changed the unit size for the infantry, I thought I may leave them at 4 figures for a cavalry unit ( or I may go mad and have cavalry units of 8 figures!!!! You know what it's like.)
I wanted a Scottish unit in kilts ( I've done the Highland Light Infantry like you) so thought I'd use Del Prado. Can I find any?!!!! I've managed to obtain 2 plus the piper, and my sculpting mate has converted the Victrix flag Bearers by giving them a Bonnet ( the officers seemed to wear trousers from the prints I've seen), so just need 5 Del Prado Highlanders now to complete the unit.
At one time, they were everywhere at the Toy Fairs. Now I hardly see any and can't find any on eBay or traders, so that unit will have to wait.
Brilliant as usual Don.

Some of my Victrix figures. My first successful attempt at reducing the size of the photos. Problem is, I can't remember how I did it!!!! Is anyone else as bad as me with technology?!!!!! Best Wishes Dave

Hi. Just set up my Victrix and Italeri figures for what will be my very first 54mm game. I only have about half the figures I eventually hope to have, but I'm keen to try out the rules. I'll be using About Bonaparte rules to see how they work out. Best Wishes Dave

Hi Dave,
What gorgeous figures! Hope you enjoy your first game of About Bonaparte. I have so far played two games of About Cromwell, one with Mike who thought they were OK but not great, and another with Alastair, another member of the Guildford Club who really liked them. Command and control in About Cromwell is more tricky than in About Bonaparte (rightly so). Do let us know what you think of the rules.
Cheers Anthony
