They look really good. A question if I may, are the epaulettes stick on parts or moulded, I was wondering how easy it would be to turn these in Fusiliers instead?

Its not too hard in my view. You just need a sharp cutter... ...took me 5 min. Cheers, Don

Hi Don,
Gorgeous figures! Are they based on 40mm rounds?
Cheers Anthony

Hi Don,
Absolutely outstanding. Thought mine were quite nice - till I saw yours.
I'm building a collection of 54mm Victrix and thing they're really nice figures. To reinforce the earlier question about fusiliers, they do convert easily, as do the British flank companies into centre companies.
I have to admit to cheating though. My mate is a figure sculptor, so he does all the conversions for me. He's just converted the light infantry officer/flank company sergeant pack into centre company figures and replaced the light infantry shakes with centre company shakes,. Worth every penny!!!!!!!
What a pity Victrix aren't developing the range.
Just to let the Napoleonic buffs know that I'm a re-enact or and part of the French 21st Line Regiment. We're off to relight Jena 2 weeks tomorrow and last year's Waterloo was AWESOME!
Love the figures Don. Hope we see more of them. I'll hopefully post some of mine when I can work out how to do it!!!! (Thanks for the link Mike, but I still don't understand. Hopefully my mate will sort me out)
Best Wishes Dave

Yes. From Renedra. I wish now, I had done them on squares.... And thanx for the nice comments. Btw I did a few conversions myself. I wanted a flag bearer, so I took a plastic stick and some greenstuff... Not really finished yet... Cheers, Don

Hi Dave, the buildings are self scratch build. I have few WIP shots of the church. It started as a 28mm true scale building was way tooo big for any reasonable 28s game. The church is pretty similar to the rural churches around Berlin (where I live).. Even though I got pretty good examples around here in town, I got it all wrong and builded the tower toooo big. Here are some WIP-pics... Size comparison with a 28mm. Here are some pics with the first layers of paint. Still some weathering to do. The roof has just 1 layer of paint And a pic with just 1 storey. Looks better from the proportion. So, when I started playing with 54mms I just made the door bigger and it fits quite well.... Cheers, Don

Okay, here are a few more scenic pics. I am a transport gamer...nearly never palying at home. So I have to build all my gaming stuff very to fit in my ruck sack. I have no car so travel allways by tube or bus. So, I builded yesterday a new hut for my 54mm setting. And the scenery so far. I know I have to add a few more things.... The buildings break down into smaller parts. And somehow it all fits into each other. And everything fits in a 35x26x18cm box...not too bad for 54mm me thinks.... Cheers, Don

Hi Don,
Many thanks for the pics and info. Brilliant. How are we lesser mortals expected to compete with that. Brilliantly painted figures and lovely buildings - and scratch built as well.
I think that's the only problem with 54mm gaming - terrain and buildings just don't seem to be available. Any suggestions/sources anyone for Peninsular buildings.
Again, Absolutely amazing buildings Don.
Dave

Hi Don (and Dave!),
I use true scale 28mm buildings all the time for 54mm gaming. As you say Don they are just too big for actual 28mm figures.
Best wishes Anthony

I wanted to build a big house for some time now. I had this idea of a kind of siege...hougemaont or the like. So here are e few WIP shots of my build so far. I started with the stuff I had laying around. No ruler used.... Next I glued all the parts together. The next step was far more time consuming. ecorating all the windows and the roof. Inside the house.... And I checked that the house fits into the transport box.... To get a little more depth in the walls I added some acrylic filler. After everything was dried, I painted the whole house in black undercoat. And at last I painted the walls with different layers and washes.... And a sideview.... Still a lot to do....but ypu get the idea... ...stay tuned. Cheers, Don
