Lots of creativity and inventiveness going on here. I particularly like the orcs, great idea , never thought of that one. I look forward to seeing more of your figures and hopefully a battle report soon.

I finally completed my orc warband conversions that I started what must be a year or more ago. These started life as Hong Kong Native American copies. I replaced the heads with resin orc heads from eBay and used green stuff to cover the hack job on the neck and back, fashioning hair and fur cloaks. They are finally painted up and ready for battle! View AttachmentI feel like I spend all my hobby time on modelling and converting, which I really enjoy, but I get a kind of hobby guilt that I never play. Does anyone else get the same feeling? I’m determined to get a game in this weekend with some very basic rules. Maybe The Quests of Brin the Barbarian?
Love the Orcs!
The Quests of Brin the Barbarian is such a great simple set of rules - but it has the right flavor I think. I really need to get it on the table again. I do hope you'll share some pics of whatever game you play.

Been a while since I posted but I’ve been very active with my hobby time. I’ll post some catch up photos over the next few days. First up, I found some Star Wars Jedi figures cheap on eBay. Half of them are human and half one of the reptilian species. So, for my fantasy games they will become the Sons of Set! The human cultists haven’t yet reached their full stage of transformation, or perhaps are hiding their snake form with glamour magic. I purchased a pin vise. After cutting off the lightsabers I drilled through their hands to allow me to equip them with a variety of weapons. Now they look more diverse, and with some minor changes of paint job between each it should mask that they are only two poses.

Lots of potential in these figures . One thing I found really helpful when drilling was a small hobby vice which attached to my desk . Before that I was doing it in my hands or on my leg sitting down and if the drill slipped l got cut.
